Experience at a high level

Restaurant Prix de Rome, awarded with a Bib Gourmand, offers a top experience. Everything is thought of here.

To ensure that annoying noises do not spoil the situation, Incatro assessed the situation on site and advised to install a number of acoustic panels.

At restaurant Prix de Rome, a great deal of attention is paid to the complete experience of a visit to the restaurant. The warm interior, the beautiful lighting, the modern French cuisine with the freshest ingredients from the often local suppliers. Everything is done at a high level.

It is not for nothing that they were awarded a Bib Gourmand by Michelin in 2021.

Attention to acoustics

A nice appreciation that also attracted a new audience. This new audience sometimes had different expectations in terms of atmosphere and appearance of the restaurant. In the summer of 2021, for example, a major metamorphosis was decided.

To ensure that the desired noise level also matches the high level of cooking and service, attention was also paid to the acoustics of the various rooms.

Acoustic measurement and advice

Our acoustic consultant first carried out a reverberation measurement on site to determine the difference between the measured reverberation time and the desired reverberation time. A reverberation time of 0.6 seconds is ideal for a catering establishment.

The acoustics expert then advised how much and in which places extra absorption material was needed.

Matching new interior

During the renovation, a lot of attention had already been paid to other aspects of the interior, such as color scheme, lighting and furniture. Our acoustic panels also had to fit seamlessly with this new design.

Acoustic wall panel for the large space

In the large space, an ARTwall of 16.5 m2 has been chosen. This was placed against the wall above the kitchen outlet at a height of about 2.5 m to the ridge of the roof.

The upholstery of this acoustic wall covering was made of a beige fabric. As a result, the acoustic solution disappears nicely against the wall.

Acoustic ceiling in dining room and bar

Here it was decided to place 3 ARTceilings, between the light rails.

Also performed here with the same beige fabric, so that the acoustic ceiling solutions fully integrate with the existing ceiling.
